2018 CSA Farm Share

RETURNING FARM FAMILIES NOTE CHANGES:
price changes
addition of cafe
addition of our greenhouses

This is our take on the CSA/Modified Farm Share. Our farm shares differ from conventional CSA's and we think our farm families like this plan...

Instead of us packing a certain type or amount of produce each week for you, rather you have the ability to choose from what we have available. No longer will you get that dreaded basket full of endless kale, summer squash and cukes that come in abundance! What if you don't like it or just not heaps of it? With our Farm Share you may pick and choose from our variety of field produce, the amounts, and how often you want to shop. A sample of some of this years available products will be beets, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, corn, cucumbers, pickles, peppers, squash, tomato, watermelon, eggplant, (yes) kale, spinach, Swiss chard, and lettuce.

Along with our produce we will be offering fruit from our orchard and other farms as well. This will include but not limited to (blueberries, peaches, pears, strawberries, and of course apples), it also includes U-Pick (blueberry, peach, and apple) if you want an adventure.

You may also use your CSA discount card at our greenhouses for your bedding, hanging, and potted plants!
You can now pay for your meals at the Cafe (no discount applies)

How is this all going to work?
You are buying "shares" but there are no actual "weeks" purchased. It runs like a debit card. You can shop when you like, buy what you like, as often as you like and you receive a 15% discount off the listed retail price. You decide what your budget would be on fresh, local, produce and fruit for the summer/fall and you purchase your "debit" card either full or half share. Cards can be reloaded AND they do NOT expire. With your card you can also pay for and receive a discount of 5% off anything in our store that is not part of the CSA, bakery, goat soaps, honey, maple syrup, fudge. At our greenhouses you just show your card (as we do not have the technology there to use as payment) and get 15% off your plant purchases.

A full share will cost $550.00
A half share will cost $400.00

How do I sign up?
Download sheet below, fill out your information and which program you would like to be a part of, send in or drop off application with deposit(non-refundable) to lock in your spot. Once submitted you will be contacted to make sure all information is correct and you are understanding of when time frames will begin.

When does it start?
Great question right. Well this is kind of determined by mother nature and her good will towards farmers. The plan is mid June through October of 2018.

How much is the deposit?
Full Share: $200
Half Share: $150
This allows us to have the working capital to insure we have your amount of product available and able to plan accordingly when it comes time to plant or harvest. This deposit is non-refundable, no exceptions.

How do I make a deposit?
We take all forms of payment.
Credit card companies rates are going up higher and costing the small business person and especially farmers a headache. We would prefer checks and cash, but understand if people can't do that. You will however receive a discount of 3% if paying with cash or check.

When is the cut off time frame to sign up?
We hope to have all applications/deposits in by February 28, 2018. This means deposit and information needs to be received to Clark Farms at Bushy Hill Orchard. Remaining balances paid in FULL by March 30, 2018 will receive discount: $50 off full share $25 off half share!! Balances must be paid in full no later than May 1, 2018.
