Once the apples have been harvested they go into the grinder. From the grinder the pulp is put into cloth then they are pressed. The cider travels thru the very first Cidersure ultraviolet cold pasteurizer made. We have the very first model on our farm!
Cold pasteurization removes any potentially harmful pathogens that might be present. Unlike heat pasteurization the flavor of the cider is not changed and still remains crisp and sweet. The cider must be kept in the refrigerator and will last up to two weeks if kept cold. We never add sugar, preservatives, or flavoring just 100% apple!
New this year we will be making our own HARD cider. We have made many renovations and purchased the proper equipment to add to our family business. We are very excited to be able offer tastings and sales by the glass or bottle. We will be expanding our cafe to offer great selections while you sit and enjoy the farm.
